The Malaysia Premier Futsal League began the 2026 season without media channels of its own. Strive Sports was appointed to build and run the league's media and commercial operation: live production of every match, six owned social channels, a league website and a sponsorship inventory.
The starting point
The MPFL was broadcast on Astro in 2023 and 2024. After that agreement ended, the 2025 season was distributed through third-party YouTube channels and recorded 864,000 views.
The 2026 season opened on 15 May without league-owned channels, a league website or a structured offer for sponsors.
The plan
Our approach was to bring the full chain, from production to sponsorship, under the league's control. With its own broadcast, channels and inventory, every match builds an audience the league can measure and sell.
- Broadcast
Every match, live
Full venue production at every fixture, with live graphics and commentary in Bahasa Malaysia, distributed to YouTube and Facebook.
- Channels
Six owned channels
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and X, alongside mpfl.my, which runs on FAM's live competition data. Clips, graphics and photography are published on the night of each match.
- Sponsorship
A measurable inventory
Broadcast, social and venue assets packaged for partners and priced against verified audience data.
The build
A single production team and workflow, completed on the night. Each moment is captured courtside, logged live, produced as clips and graphics, reviewed and published.
- CaptureCameras and photographers courtside
- LogMoments tagged live
- MakeClips, graphics, galleries
- ApproveReviewed before publication
- PostSix channels and mpfl.my
The season
Nine clubs competed in a double round robin followed by a knockout play-off, staged across three venues in Pasir Gudang, Shah Alam and Kuantan.
